This was a project Gael Troughton from Mokelumne River Models hired me for. This is an HO scale model of the Old City Hall in Gilroy, California. I modeled in Maya with the goal of printing the main model in laser sintered nylon powder and numerous detail pieces in resin through Shapeways.com's online service. The first four photographs show the model after Mr. Troughton painted them and all but the last picture were taken by Mr. Troughton himself. The last photo is of him the when I finally met him in the flesh and got to see the projects we've worked on together in person. After that are a few close up renders of the 3d model itself.
